Jonathan Sherman, MD

Jonathan Sherman, MD, FACC joined Aurora Denver Cardiology Associates in 2014 and thrives off the practice’s dynamic and team-focused approach. He is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology and interventional cardiology. He specializes in complex coronary and structural heart intervention to include a special interest in chronic total occlusion (CTO) interventions. He has an extensive academic and research background, having spent time researching basic principles of medicine and cardiology at each stage of his training. During fellowship, he received a Certificate in Bioinformatics from Oxford University in England, studying the genetics of collateral vessel formation in cardiac patients. Outside of medicine, Dr. Sherman is an avid fly fisherman. He also enjoys skiing, hiking, biking and spending time with his wife and two boys. As a graduate of Cherry Creek High School, he is thrilled to return to Denver to continue his career. Dr. Sherman has impacted his patient's lives with his knowledge and commitment to high quality care.
